Aji 10 is a go to dinner choice for me. In fact I often crave the food and ambience this restaurant offers. The staff is top notch and the food just as amazing. The chips and dip starter is just what is needed offering both traditional tortilla chips and wontons! And the dipping sauce- excellent! You must try the short rib arepas - that is a MUST. They are so tender and cooked to perfection. The empanadas are also a must try as the filling is spiced perfectly and the ingredients combine to make a delightful taste. The fried calamari is terrific especially when you squeeze the lemon wedge on top to heighten the flavors. My go to is the sushi with plantains on top. The salmon is also another fabulous delicacy. My husband always gets the steak and fried and is never disappointed. And you cannot leave without trying the yucca fries. For this alone you will return time and time again. The drinks are consistently perfect. Outdoor seating is available in the warmer months and the greenery transports you to a sidewalk in Europe. I end with the desserts...you cannot leave without sharing at least two different ones each time you go. The banana roll is exquisite and the pineapple cheesecake a grand slam! I hope you try Aji 10 and love it as much as we do!

This place was definitely worth checking out, was recommended by a friend and have to say i'll be coming back! The staff and service were friendly and attentive, but the food was the star of the show The lomo saltado was season to perfection, the meat tender, and side sauce garlicky. A must try is the passion fruit flan, the flan wasn't too sweet which was nice but with the passion fruit purée it was a delicious pairing. The price points are a bit hefty but the portion sizes make up for it.

The best Lomo Saltado I've ever had, juicy tender flavorful, absolutely delicious! Aji sauce was great, but a little skimpy on the amount provided even when asking for extra, I'll pay more I don't care it's that good! Haha. Service was prompt and friendly. Parked on a side street, and walked in through a side door. The restaurant was down the stairs on the first floor beneath offices or apartments, but very clean and not too loud inside.

This may be one of Norwalk's most underrated restaurants. Aji 10 is a Peruvian and Japanese fusion. If that doesn't excite you, then I don't know what will. The food here is spectacular. The chicharron is juicy and crispy, just the way I like it and they pair it with tostones and a salsa which adds a complimentary freshness to the deep fried, delicious pork. I ordered sushi (Rainbow Roll Acevichado) for my entree which came three different fish and a roll with plantains. The plantain sushi was my favorite out of all of them--I could probably eat 50 of them.

The food was delicious! Great place for traditional Peruvian food, the lomo was one of the best I've had and the beef heart skewers were so tasty! The sushi wasn't anything special if recommend sticking to the main plates. Very tentative staff and great interior!

I like this place, it's one of the places you keep coming back and food is always good, but for the fist time I got disappointed. As a chef myself, it's very important to adopt your food and menu into modern life, use new techniques , experiment with new flavors, modernize presentation, add or change new dishes. I feel like their menu didn't change since the fist time I introduced myself to Aji in 2014/2015 I had, fried oysters and I only can give 5 out of 10. oyster itself was super fresh, super crunchy - just great, but it came with fat avocado, so fat oyster with fat avocado plus this dish missed some acidity, some fresh note, it didn't work well, and serve on tired lettuce, so not a flavorful dish and presentation back to 1990. No complains about Lomo saltado. Parrillada de Mariscos was fresh and good, but again hot seafood served on fresh lettuce (in few min it got saggy and nasty, And raw tomatoes, why?! this isn't working in 2023. And service as alway BAD.

First time here, we are fanatics of Peruvian food, it will be our last one. We share with my husband because I knew the portions would be gigantic. The drinks are very good, service is "fine", no complains. The chicharrones appetizer were delicious except for the plaintains, they look and tasted like those from a frozen bag from Goya. The strip steak called Lomito Saltado is one of my favorites in this menu, it was as expected delicious. Great menu to the end, we got churros for dessert, outstanding.
